Our story
Tanda Consulting was founded by two industry professionals with over fifteen years of experience across finance, insurance and SaaS.
The pattern we kept encountering is the same one clients describe to us now: substantial documents, significant invoices, and very little that actually changes. We built the firm to work the other way round — engagements scoped narrowly, tied to a defined outcome, and judged on whether that outcome arrives.
That background is also why the two halves of the firm sit together rather than apart. Having worked inside regulated and fast-moving businesses, we have seen how rarely a transformation programme survives contact with commercial reality when the two are planned separately.
We are based in Milton Keynes. It keeps us close enough to sit in the room when that changes the outcome, and well placed for work across the rest of the country.
How we work
We look at how the work is actually done — including the workarounds that never appear in a process document.
We separate the presenting problem from the underlying one, and say so plainly when they turn out to be different.
Recommendations scoped to what can realistically be delivered with the people, systems and budget available.
We stay involved through implementation. The engagement ends when the change holds, not when the report is issued.
Where we are
Milton Keynes gives us fast access to London, Birmingham and much of the country, which is why a good deal of our work sits well beyond Buckinghamshire. We combine on-site presence at the points where being in the room changes the outcome with remote working everywhere else — and we would rather travel than let a fortnightly video call substitute for understanding your business.
